Who is HomeMates and why work with us?

HomeMates started from a feeling almost everyone in Greater Boston shares: housing here costs too much, and what fits a renter's budget is small and in poor condition. Buying together is the most immediate route to ownership we've found for the people we serve.

After talking with hundreds of co-purchasing groups across Massachusetts, we built our services around the places those groups got stuck, and because that groundwork is done, we can offer them at a low cost. HomeMates grew out of the research Restored Living set out to do.
